We can dispense private prescriptions from any UK registered doctor, at a competitive rate. Whether you have seen a private GP, a specialist or a clinic, you are welcome to bring your prescription to us.
What happens
With a private prescription, you pay for the medicine itself rather than an NHS charge. The cost depends on what has been prescribed, so we will always give you a quote before we dispense anything.
You can call us and read out what is on your prescription, or simply bring it in and we will price it up for you while you wait. There is no obligation to go ahead.
What we need from you
- The original paper prescription, signed by your doctor. We cannot dispense from a photocopy, a photograph or an email.
- The prescription must be handed to us at the time the medicine is dispensed and collected. We keep it for our records, as the law requires.
If we do not have your medicine in stock, we will order it in and let you know when it is ready.
